Terms of Service
Last updated 11 September 2026
These terms cover the use of Loyalty, a service that lets a shop run a customer reward programme through a QR code.
For customers
Joining a shop's programme is free. Scanning the code and signing in with Google lets the shop count your visits and spending so it can give you the discounts it has chosen to offer.
The rewards themselves are the shop's, not ours. The shop decides what the discounts are, may change them, and may choose not to apply one on a given visit. We record what the shop tells us; any dispute about a discount is between you and the shop.
For shops
- You are responsible for what you record, and for keeping your login secret.
- You are responsible for the customer data you collect through Loyalty, and for treating it in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
- Do not use Loyalty to send marketing to customers who have not asked for it.
- Do not use it for anything unlawful.
Price
The service is free. If we ever introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance, before anything changes for your shop, and nothing you have already recorded will be lost or locked away.
Cancelling
You may stop using Loyalty at any time. Ask us and we will delete your shop and its customer records. Deletion is permanent.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but cannot promise it will never be unavailable. Keep your own records of anything you cannot afford to lose — the CSV export on the Reports page exists for exactly that.
Liability
Loyalty is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect losses arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above will change. Continuing to use Loyalty after a change means you accept the updated terms.
